Forgiveness as a Leadership Practice - lessons from Rwanda How Forgiveness informs decision-making, community leadership, and nation-building, creates hope & opens potential . Forgiveness and Hope are the two capacities added to the recently revised IDG Guide. Come and explore with us, in an interactive session led by Vincent Kalimba from Rwanda , what it takes to forgive and how he and his organization ‘Envisage’ work with this, particularly addressing young people in education and universities. In Vincent’s words: ‘this country had only one chance. We had both victims and perpetrators here. If we wanted to be a strong country, we needed to act united and overcome this trauma. This only works through forgiveness: then there is hope for the future! Youth is the future . They used their power to destroy during the Genocide against the Tutsi. Today they use their power to reconstruct.’ Join us for what promises to be an impactful session! Date : Friday 12/12 from 16.00-17.30 CET Register : https://idg-hubs-and-networks.in.howspace.com/?path=%2Fidg-community-dialogues-space#widget-67c84d53be54ca0f890a1bad
