VALUABLE NETWORK from Dr. Alexandra Szabo Thanks to funding from the European Commission through 4 Erasmus+ projects, the Valueable Network was born in 2014 and is now operating in 9 countries . Valueable is both a trademark and a European-wide network of about 150 members, which are hospitality companies (e.g. hotels, restaurants, coffee bars, fast food) including people with intellectual disabilities (ID) within their workforce . Valueable has been recognised as a good practice by the European Commission (2023) and the International Labour Organisation (2019). It received the second prize in the Social Entrepreneurship World Competition in Tourism in 2022, has been highly commended at the Disability Smart Awards in 2024 and is a Zero Project awardee in 2025 . Dr. Alexandra Szabo Hungarian Down Foundation Alexandra is a work and organisational psychologist with 8 years' experience in the implementation and management of diversity and inclusion projects at a national and international level. As a job inclusion consultant at the Hungarian Down Foundation, she is responsible for the training, onboarding and tutoring of workers with intellectual disabilities aspiring to work in the open labour market, and also ensures a strong collaboration with inclusive employers in Budapest. She has been working with Valueable Network as a responsible for the project implementation in Hungary since 2018.
