The Amsterdam IDG Hub for Organizational Transitions and Transformations is excited to kick off, a live series of gatherings that explores care as a radical act - a force for reclaiming agency, resisting apathy, and reorganizing communities from the ground up. Organized a cross three events, we’ll spotlight local Amsterdam pioneers - who are reimagining impact not from the top down, but from the bottom up, creating powerful ripples of transformation. Our first session on June 24th focuses on how art can be a powerful tool for care and community transformation . Through the stories of two inspiring women based in Amsterdam, we’ll explore how creative practices can nurture connection and challenge systems. Each of them leads a project that blends artistic expression with deep community care - offering insight into how grassroots, art-led initiatives are already shaping social change locally. Participants will gain inspiration from their experiences, learn practical ways to center care in their own work, and discover Amsterdam-based organizations working at the intersection of art, activism, and healing. Framed through the lens of the Inner Development Goals, this session invites reflection on how qualities like empathy, connection, courage, and collaboration can be cultivated as inner capacities for collective impact.
