In 2015, the UN launched the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a comprehensive plan for how to achieve a sustainable and equitable world by 2030. Unfortunately, progress hasn’t been nearly fast enough, and we urgently need to increase our collective abilities to face and work effectively with complex challenges. This is where the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) come in. The IDGs are a non-profit, open-source initiative and framework. They were founded on the belief that inner development is necessary to achieve the important societal transformations that will lead us to more sustainable, equitable futures. In our next Monday Space session, we're excited to welcome business coach and co-founder of IDG Netherlands Erno Hannink , who will host us for a conversation about why inner development is important for a sustainable future, how it works, and what the skills are. This will be an interactive session where we will experience what it means to work on these skills. Erno’s life mission is to reduce social and ecological inequality, helping leaders develop sustainable habits so they become good ancestors. If you can relate to the call to build capacity in yourself and others to be a force for good in the world, please join us and Erno coming Monday 15 April for this timely conversation. And if you know others who are exploring this connection between inner work and outer change, please invite them along!
