We are thrilled to announce that the College of Public Policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University is now the official hub for the Inner Development Goals (IDGs), a non-profit initiative dedicated to fostering skills and qualities essential for purposeful, sustainable, and productive lives. As part of our commitment to this transformative initiative, we extend a heartfelt invitation to you and your students for an upcoming event that promises inspiration and education: "Co-Design for Humanity: Equitable and Inclusive Futures." In 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provided a blueprint for a sustainable world by 2030. Despite this vision, progress has been slower than anticipated, revealing a crucial gap in our ability to navigate an increasingly complex world. The IDGs initiative emerged from this realization, emphasizing the development of inner capacities needed for positive change. The IDGs framework is a cornerstone of our collective journey towards achieving the SDGs. To kickstart our engagement with this initiative, we present a three-hour session dedicated to involving students with the IDGs. Through collaborative activities and discussions, we aim to explore the integration of Inner Development Goals with Traditional and Cultural Knowledge, with a specific focus on sustainable development in Qatar and globally.
