Monthly meeting IDG Hub "Empathy and Compassion", exploring "HUMILITY" Thu Jul 13th 7:00pm - 8:15pm OUR FOCUS IN JULY 2023: HUMILITY - " Being able to act in accordance with the needs of the situation without concern for one's own importance " is the skill and quality we want to explore, supported with an underlying (self)-compassionate attitude . The Inner Development Goals (IDG) Empathy & Compassion Hub meets every month to practice (self-)compassion and one of the currently 23 IDG skills: “Empathy & Compassion”, namely the "Ability to relate to others, oneself and nature with kindness, empathy and compassion and address related suffering” is nested in Dimension 3 - Relating - in the IDG Framework: “Caring for others and the world”. In a 75-minute session in an interactive practice format, we will practice self-compassion both with a guided practice and deep/compassionate listening, as we explore the relevance of that particular skill. We will harvest the fruit that come alive from each session thank you to the gift of your presence - nothing to be achieved, just fully being here. We will leave with “heartwork”, a personal idea and commitment to enhance our inner self-compassionate voice and deepen our inner growth in this month's skill in-between monthly meetings.
