Zazen - 坐禅 - Japanese Mindfulness Meditation in Metaverse world Welcome to the Zazen Meditation with a Japanese monk priest, Souin Fujio in the metaverse version of Dokuonji - a real Japanese temple in Kanagawa. “Zazen is a form of seated meditation that is practiced in Zen Buddhism. The word "zazen" comes from the Japanese words "za," which means "seated," and "zen," which means "meditation." Zazen typically involves sitting cross-legged on a cushion (called a zafu) or a chair, with the back straight and the eyes half-closed. During zazen, the practitioner focuses on their breath and tries to quiet the mind by letting go of thoughts as they arise. The goal of zazen is to cultivate mindfulness, concentration, and insight. It is believed that through consistent practice, one can develop greater awareness and understanding of the true nature of reality" - let's see what happens in the virtual reality. This is a collaboration event with IDGs Hub - Nordic Wellbeing, The Zenjo and Enmono Co., Ltd, a Japanese company developing business based on Zen philosophy and VR technology. We want you to contribute, by staying after the event and join the open discussion to improve the Metaverse meditation session for the next VR*Mindfulness event. Of course - you can donate in the Saisen-bako, offertory box in the VR room or Swish 0790737969 after the session. (This is also interesting to see if the VR payment box works!) [Schedule] *Time in CET, Central European Time 8:30 - 9:00.......Door
